A few years ago, I purchased a poodle with a one-year health guarantee, planning to conduct preliminary health testing just before the year was up. While the testing went well and he passed, he started facing severe health issues shortly after his first birthday. This led to thousands in vet bills and ultimately the heartbreaking decision to put him to sleep due to multiple health problems and a poor quality of life.
