What to look for in a responsible breeder Part 6

Lifetime Support

I believe this aspect is incredibly important. If you have a question about your dog, even if they're 10 years old, please don’t hesitate to ask me. Once you breed a dog and produce puppies, those puppies remain your responsibility for their entire lives.

If unexpected circumstances arise and you need to find a new home for your dog, will your breeder take them back? If not, it might be time to seek a different breeder. Responsible breeders are committed to preventing dogs from ending up in shelters; they will take back their dogs and provide ongoing support, regardless of the dog’s age.

For those who have been following me, you know that I am dedicated to taking back any puppy I’ve produced to help them find a new home if needed. I genuinely care for each and every one of my puppies, and I encourage all my puppy families to reach out with any questions—no matter how trivial they may seem. There are no dumb questions, and responsible breeders are often a more reliable source of information than Google when it comes to their dogs.
